How to change the DNS of a .MY (Malaysia) Domain Name

Friday, July 20th, 2007

Generally, the DNS of a .MY Domain Name can only be changed by the Technical Contact of that domain. If you are not sure who is the Technical Contact of the domain, you can check it via Whois Search available at MYNIC.

To change the DNS, just logon as the Technical Contact using MYNIC online modification form. From there select option 2 and you will be able to change the DNS accordingly.

On the other hand, if you are not the Technical Contact for that domain name, then you will need to login as the Administrative Contact and appoint yourself as the new Technical Contact. Once the appointment of new Technical Contact is completed, you can then login as the new Technical Contact to change the DNS accordingly.
